Supermodel Kate Moss and British clothing brand Hunter go way back. She made the Original Tall Wellington boots the must-have festival footwear when she wore them to Glastonbury back in the Noughties, and now she's celebrating 170 years of the brand by fronting a new campaign.

Kate's festival looks - black Hunter wellies paired with tiny shorts or skinny jeans - are iconic, but fast-forward to 2026, and she's making us see the best wellies in a whole new way. While we might associate them with muddy festivals and rainy weekend walks in the countryside, Kate's campaign is a reminder that wellies are surprisingly practical and chic for everyday wear. Worn with straight-leg jeans and a chunky knit, or even with a midi skirt and a Barbour waxed jacket, they're the practical autumn shoe that doesn't compromise on style.

The Iconic by Nature collection landed online today, and according to Hunter, it "brings together the brand’s past, present and future." There are classic boots, including a special anniversary welly in the original Hunter Green, and some seriously covetable outerwear too. I almost can't wait for rain now!

The Kate Moss and Hunter reunion is a timely reminder ahead of colder weather really kicking in that with the right styling, wellies can look just as considered as your favourite leather ankle boots or knee-high boots.

They can blend seamlessly into your autumn outfit ideas to keep you dry and comfy, and actually at £100 for the classic black boots, the cost per wear is pretty impressive, too.
