Coleen Rooney demonstrates that elegant autumn dressing is down to these simple and timeless pairings
She gave us so much outfit inspiration in the trailer for her Disney+ docuseries 'The Real Rooneys'
It’s not just the ‘new roles, new goals, and a little bit of chaos’ promised by the trailer for Coleen Rooney’s new Disney+ docuseries The Real Rooneys that’s got us excited. The three elegant transitional outfits she could be seen wearing in it have also piqued our interest.
From her sophisticated neutral co-ord to jeans and a knit combo, and the endlessly timeless navy and plum two-piece she could be seen wearing in teasingly short Instagram snippets, all emulated the kind of autumnal elegance that we're looking to recreate this season.
Ahead of the show’s premiere (24th September), we've tracked down similar styles to help you recreate her look, and all these pieces could easily slot into an autumn capsule wardrobe.

Wear this Reiss shirt with the matching pair of wide-leg trousers to create an elegant, sophisticated look inspired by the first outfit Coleen is seen wearing in the trailer for her docuseries. Or style it with your favourite jeans for a more laid-back finish.
Like the matching Reiss shirt, these trousers are made from a wool-blend that has a touch of stretch for a flattering, comfortable finish. Pressed creases run down the front of the leg for added structure, and they're available in petite, regular and long.
With the same high neck and sleeveless cut as Coleen's top, this one from Next is a striking and affordable piece to recreate her look. Draped details at the neckline and waist add soft movement to the style. Shoppers note that it's 'very flattering' and 'well fitting.'
By opting for navy trousers over a classic black pair to go with her plum-coloured top, Coleen created a beautifully rich, autumnal colour palette, echoing the autumn/winter fashion colour trends for 2026. This pair is ideal for recreating her look, but will work with a host of other elevated basics too.
Coming in a dark-wash blue, these straight leg denim jeans feature a fitted high-rise waist to balance out the straight, relaxed leg and give a flattering shape. Added 'comfort stretch' lends them a figure-hugging finish at the hip and thigh.
The first look we see Coleen wearing in the trailer is a sophisticated co-ord that, that would work from AM to PM. A chic smart casual outfit idea the button-up shirt and matching tailored trousers feel polished, though her choice to roll up her shirt sleeves and leave the top buttons of her shirt undone delivers a more relaxed finish. We can’t see what shoes she opted for, but a sleek, black pump or pair of loafers would make a great choice.
Coleen’s deeply autumnal take on office-ready dressing. A plum-coloured, sleeveless top with a high neck and elegant draping sits in perfect harmony with the navy tailored trousers paired with it. Both pieces feel elegant and refined thanks to their deep tones.
Last but by no means least, we get the most casual, though no less refined. A classic pair of straight-leg jeans, in a rich, indigo wash, teamed with an off-the-shoulder, baby pink knit offers an elevated look. To finish off her look, we’d slip into a pair of the best white trainers or some ballet flats for a refined but laid-back style.
