Curl up in a cashmere blanket, light a scented candle and indulge in the new Jo Malone virtual Christmas shopping experience.
Jo Malone is virtually synonymous with Christmas gifting. No more so than this year with it's Rip Roaring Christmas Collection (opens in new tab), a nod to the Gatsby and a wintery ride on The Orient Express.
Now Jo Malone has joined a growing number of retailers emulating a real life Christmas shopping experience for customers at home.
First, John Lewis launched a virtual tour of its Oxford Street store for customers unable to travel due to Covid-19. You simply clicked on what you saw to shop. Then Charlotte Tilbury pulled out all the stops with virtual consultations (opens in new tab) and 'try on' technology that allows you to apply before you buy - virtually of course.
Now it seems, Jo Malone is joining the ranks by creating an utterly enchanting new digital shopping experience, centred around the Jo Malone Townhouse in the heart of Marylebone, London.
For the uninitiated, the Townhouse is the home of the British fragrance house and is a unique blend of fragrance atelier, design studio, showroom and theatre.
Accessed via www.jomalone.co.uk (opens in new tab), you can now visit three different rooms via a multi-sensory 360 experience.
Explore the Garden Room & Drawing Room and interact with animated elements and illustrations inspired by some of Jo Malone London’s most popular fragrances. You can also rediscover old scented favourites like Pomegranate Noir or find timeless gifts for a loved one by clicking through the illustrated products to purchase.
Or explore this year's Christmas Collection inside the Secret Festive Room. Highlights include the new Midnight Musk & Amber Scent of the Season, (opens in new tab) a heady blend of musk, amber and juniper; and the English Pear & Freesia Scented Body Powder (opens in new tab), a more intimate way of scenting the whole body with a sleek compact powder and kabuki brush.
Put simply, this experience is about as close as you can get to stepping through the iconic Jo Malone Townhouse front door…
