Why Jane Seymour hasn’t had a facelift and looks incredible at 70

Jane Seymour stuns as much today as she did in her Bond girl heyday

Jane Seymour stormed to international fame as Bond girl Solitaire in the film Live and Let Die. And, truthfully, she looks just as fabulous today as she did playing the stunning tarot card reader back in 1973. In fact, Seymour turned 70 yesterday, but her youthful looks and energy speak of someone adept at rolling back the years.

Refreshingly, it seems the British-American actress isn't worried about getting older. In her NewBeauty cover story, out now, she credits her youthful appearance to a solid skincare regime.

"Using retinol at night, protecting yourself from the sun, using the great skin-care that plumps your skin and pretty much anything that makes me feel healthy is the best anti-aging secret I know," Seymour told NewBeauty.

Seymour also set the record straight about plastic surgery, explaining that while she's never had a facelift, she isn't opposed to the idea either.

"As of now, I have chosen not to have a facelift — but I have nothing against any of it, nothing. Almost everyone I know is doing it and they're really thrilled with the results," Seymour said.

"I think it's great, and if I felt that somebody could do something that wouldn't change my face, and I would have the results where I would look just like me, I would do it," she added. "I'm not saying I'd never do it, but I haven't done it yet."
