Meghan Markle could reportedly “adhere to etiquette” at the Jubilee whilst wearing her go-to color to send a very meaningful message.

For the first time since Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry “stepped back” as senior members of the extended Royal Family, the couple will be returning to the UK with their two young children. The Sussexes confirmed weeks ago that they would be attending the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee 2022 celebrations with Archie and Lilibet. The news that they are set to bring their daughter is extra special as she will likely finally get to see Her Majesty. At the moment it’s thought she’s the only one of the Queen’s great-grandchildren who hasn’t met her in person.

And with the eyes of the world upon them an expert has suggested that it’s likely Meghan Markle could “adhere to etiquette” with her Jubilee look whilst keeping true to her with her recent go-to color.

Opening up to OK!,TV and Celebrity Fashion Expert Miranda Holder expressed her belief that Meghan could likely wear white to the Jubilee. She went on to suggest that the Duchess could “adhere” to the royal clothing traditions she’s had the freedom to stray from recently.

"Meghan’s style has evolved since marrying Harry, transforming from California girl to something more chic and sophisticated,” Miranda alleged. “She takes a more minimalist approach to fashion, letting her beauty and presence do the talking."

She claimed that Meghan could "be keen to adhere to etiquette”, adding, “Meghan bears a bit of skin on occasion rather than wearing panty hose, or boldly opts for coloured nail varnish rather than the accepted natural and nude tones.

"I can imagine she is in trepidation about her visit, as things have been strained over recent months, so I anticipate she will continue the same strategy that has been working for her and wear a shade of white, ivory or cream.”

And rather than opting for a pantsuit like we’ve often seen from the Duchess, Miranda predicted, "I also think that Meghan will be keen to adhere to etiquette and wear a dress rather than some of the beautiful more fashion forward trousers suits we have recently seen her in."

If she does choose white, Miranda claimed that this color is a meaningful choice because it could “position her as more innocent and pure to the force opposition she encountered when she and Prince Harry left ’the firm’”. It’s also a tone that the royal has regularly worn in recent months.

Meghan Markle changed her Netherlands outfit and stunned in a white power suit at the Invictus Games and wore a beautiful cream jacket and dress there too. She also wore a white shift dress at the Global Citizen Live event in September 2021 and white shirts are staples in the Duchess’ ultra elegant wardrobe.

Fans will just have to wait and see exactly what Meghan wears for the Jubilee. Although if she does wear a white dress as Miranda suggested, it could be seen as a way of showing unity with the Royal Family by “adhering to etiquette” and also sending a message of purity and innocence and sticking to a color she feels wonderful in.

Whatever color or outfit she chooses to wear, the prospect of seeing her and Prince Harry flying back to the UK with their children for this huge event is hugely exciting.
