- Duchess Camilla also blew the Duchess of Cambridge a kiss, prompting one royal insider to suggest the future King and Queen Consort were deliberating avoiding their usual cheek kisses.

Prince Charles showed off his paternal affection for Kate Middleton at the Queen's Service of Thanksgiving on Friday with the blow of a sweet kiss, much to the delight of royal fans.
The exchange unfolded as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed the Prince of Wales and Duchess Camilla to the Platinum Jubilee ceremony at St. Paul's Cathedral shortly before 11.30 am this morning, and was quickly flagged by royal expert, Camilla Tominey.
"That's sweet - Charles has just blown a little greetings kiss at Kate ahead of the #Royal procession," the Telegraph editor told her Twitter followers, before sharing a TikTok clip of the interaction in slow motion.
In the short video, the future King can be seen pressing his right hand to his lips and blowing Kate, who's wearing a sunny yellow monochrome dress, a delicate kiss.
Duchess Camilla, styled in an equally gorgeous ivory and gold embroidered coat dress, also gave the 40-year-old royal an air kiss. As for why Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall opted for the no-contact gesture over a kiss on the cheek, it could have to do with protecting the ladies' wide-brimmed headgear.

"They can't really kiss on cheeks with such big hats involved," Tominey joked.

The blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment has delighted royal fans, prompting many of them to share their reactions on Twitter.
"True mutual respect and admiration right there. It appears they all four have a lovely relationship," one impressed person wrote.
"Aw that is so cute, Prince Charles is so soft-hearted," another fan commented.
Others have commented on the special bond enjoyed by Charles and Kate, which apparently dates back to the early days of Prince William's relationship with the Reading native. It's even been reported that the Duchess of Cambridge calls her father-in-law 'Pa', and regularly shares private jokes with him, having built up a strong rapport with the future King over the two decades. Kate was even snapped consoling the Prince of Wales after his father, Prince Philip, died aged 99 at Windsor Castle.
"I remember Kate comforting Charles after Prince Phillips's [sic] funeral, he's such a sensitive soul and was bereft that day," one royal fan recalled.
