One particular sign displayed by Meghan Markle was a sure indicator that the tide had turned for her and Prince Harry after they stepped away from royal life, a body language expert claims.

  • Prince Harry and Meghan Markle swapped the glaring spotlight of royal life for A-lister status in LA when they resigned from their senior roles in The Firm back in 2020.
  • Now, a body language analyst has pointed out one specific moment that seems to signify a turn of the tables between Meghan and Harry.
  • This royal news comes after it was revealed that Meghan banished rumors of a feud with one of her most iconic outfits

According to Judi James, a professional body language analyst, the subtle gestures displayed by Meghan during her and Prince Harry's groundbreaking interview with Oprah Winfrey last year outlined just how the dynamics of their relationship has changed.

With former Suits star Meghan once the member of the marriage swimming in the foreign waters of life in the royal family, needing Prince Harry to support her, it appears that it's now the Duchess who takes the lead with confidence in what is a "whole new world" for Harry.

As the pair sat down with the legendary Oprah to chat about the early days of their romance, living in Windsor's Frogmore Cottage, the struggles of intense press attention and their exit from their royal roles, Judi says Meghan's hand gestures said a lot.

"I think when Meghan came to the UK, Harry very much saw himself in the role of overly protective husband that knew that all hell was going to break lose in terms of press and public interest, and was desperate to protect her - albeit that she presented herself as a very confident woman," she told The Mirror.

"But I think the tide has completely changed looking at the Oprah Winfrey clip."

Highlighting how the roles appear to have reversed for the Sussexes since their huge move, Judi went on to say, "Now she seems to have taken a much more vulnerable Harry back to the US with her and she seems to be more in the role of rescuer and protector with him.

"This hand gesture that you can see, he's got his hand on the chair and she's placed her hand on top.

"That's almost a maternal looking gesture, it's though it's being used for reassurance and to let him feed off her confidence.

"Clearly she's friends with Oprah, she's used to being in front of the cameras she's an actress, but to Harry this is a whole new world that he's being judged by and being asked to perform."
