The Queen will be present at Lilibet's christening—sweet details revealed
The couple plan on having Lilibet christened in front of the Queen
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle plan on having Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Winsdor christened in front of the Queen.
- The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are keen to return to the UK to have their daughter christened at Windsor castle.
- The couple recently welcomed a daughter, Lilibet.
- This follows royal news that royal fans might not get a birthday picture of Prince George this year.
They may have settled into life across the pond but Prince Harry and Meghan Markle plan on making a special trip back to the UK to have their daughter, Lilibet, christened.
Despite stepping down as senior royals last year and dropping several royal bombshells during a rare tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, the couple are said to want Lilibet christened in the same place as her brother, Archie.
According to the Daily Mail, a royal insider revealed, "Harry told several people that they want to have Lili christened at Windsor, just like her brother."
He was christened in an intimate ceremony in the chapel at Windsor Castle in July 2019 attended by 25 people, including the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Charles and Camilla and Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland.
Although travel restrictions due to the covid-19 pandemic could make this trip a logistical nightmare, the couple are said to be willing to wait until the world re-opens a bit more to make it possible.
"They are happy to wait until circumstances allow," the insider added.

It will no doubt mean a lot to the Queen to be present at her great-granddaughter's christening, especially as the tiny tot is named after her.
Lilibet is the sweet nickname Prince Philip used to call Her Majesty before he passed away in April.
In a statement, the couple confirmed Lili's name is indeed a nod to Harry's grandmother.
"Lili is named after her great-grandmother, Her Majesty The Queen, whose family nickname is Lilibet," it read.
If the couple do make the trip back to the UK, it will be the first time Meghan has returned since 2019. Prince Harry has been home more recently for the unveiling of a statue for Princess Diana, where he and Prince William showed "unity" despite their differences.
Despite royal tension, the Queen has made it clear the couple are always welcome at Windsor Castle.
Although Nottingham Cottage is still their official UK residence, a royal insider has revealed the couple will be "welcomed" with open arms by the Queen at Windsor Castle.
Writing in his Woman column, royal expert Duncan Larcombe said, "The Queen will be very keen to meet her new great-granddaughter as soon as possible."
"Despite everything that has been said and done, her Majesty loves Harry and considers him an important part of the Royal Family. If he and Meghan are planning to come to England over the coming months they will find themselves at Windsor Castle.”
