An old video of The Queen saying 'nah' is going viral

A viral video of the Queen is showing her more nonchalant side

When we think of the royal family most of us see them as prim and proper, but a viral video of the Queen is showing her in a more casual light.

TikTok user @arksteriff is reminding us all of a hilarious moment the Queen shared with her portrait artist. As she sat posing while Harris painted her, the Queen commented that she “sees herself aging” in front of herself. As Harris continued painting away, he asked her “does that bother you?” to which she unexpectedly responded with a simple, “nah.”

The TikToker couldn’t help but laugh over how indifferent the Queen sounded, even captioning the video “The Queen answering a question like every bloke in the U.K. Can't get over the Queen saying ‘nah.'”

Clearly, others are obsessed with the video too as it’s garnered over 2.3 million views on the app. The comment section also has labeled the Queen as “legendary” while others have noted that it’s “the most relatable I've ever seen her.”

“She forgot she was queen for a second,” joked another commenter.

It’s moments like these that remind us that the royal family are indeed human, just like us. Though rare, the Queen has been seen on other occasions showing her more cheeky side. That includes a more recent moment of her cutting a cake with a sword also caught on video. The moment is still talked about within the royal family as Camilla joked about the Queen’s cake cutting during the 10 year anniversary of Prince Charles’ Countryside fund.
