It was announced yesterday that the Countess of Wessex is the new royal patron of Musgrove Park Hospital, after a visit there on Tuesday to unveil a new MRI scanner.

The Countess of Wessexpacked a lot in to her visit to the hospital, meeting staff, patients, and visiting the new facilities. It looked like she had a great time meeting therapy dog Daisy too!

The Countess had previously visited Musgrove in March 2018, and she even helped to raise the £1million needed to open the brand new MRI suite. Her visit yesterday was to officially unveil the suite - so it seems her support certainly paid off.

Sophie supports many charities as a royal patron, and this is the latest one on the list.

Speaking about her patronage, Brian Perowne, Chair of Love Musgrove said, “Having The Countess of Wessex’s continued support through her patronage of Love Musgrove is a great boost for the charity and its vital work in supporting the patients and staff at our hospital”.

Prince Edward's wife looked very autumnal during her visit to the hospital, choosing to pair a light pink jumper with a long floral skirt and brown boots.

We’re a big fan of her jumper, as it’s so versatile we think you could pair it with just about anything!

Whilst we’re not sure exactly where the Countess of Wessex got her jumper from, we did find an excellent dupe on the high street that looks super similar to Sophie's.

According to the website, the jumper is “Jumper in a soft knit with a slightly wider neckline and long sleeves. Ribbing around the neckline, cuffs and hem.”
