One of the Queen's new puppies, Fergus, sadly died over the weekend, according to reports.
- The Queen's puppy Fergus, a dorgi (dachshund and corgi mix), has very sadly died at around five months old, according to The Sun.
- The pup was a gift from the Queen's son, Prince Andrew, along with a Corgi puppy named Muick.

The puppies were a gift from the Queen's son, Prince Andrew, earlier this year while Prince Philip was in hospital. The Duke of Edinburgh very sadly died in April at the age of 99.
The Queen has reportedly been left "devastated" by the puppy's death, which has come less than two months after her husband's passing.
Fergus, who was around five months old, joined the Queen's home with a corgi puppy called Muick (pronounced "Mick"). The dogs were named after her late uncle, Frances Bowes-Lyon, and a lake in Balmoral respectively.
Her Majesty reportedly walked the two puppies almost every day in the grounds of Windsor Castle and they were said to be a "major support"
The monarch now has just two dogs remaining—Muick and Candy, who is another dorgi and is descended from a corgi she received on her 18th birthday. The monarch also lost her dorgi Vulcan just months ago in December.
"The Queen is absolutely devastated," a source at Windsor Castle told The Sun of Fergus's death. "The puppies were brought in to cheer her up during a very difficult time.
"Everyone concerned is upset as this comes so soon after she lost her husband."
