Queen Elizabeth has apparently given her permission for one of her confidantes to write a tell-all book.
According to HarperCollins Publishers, the monarch has given her blessing for personal adviser and dressmaker Angela Kelly to write a book about the pair’s close working relationship and ‘unparalleled bond’.
The book is said to include previously unseen photos of Queen Elizabeth from the 25 years that Ms Kelly has spent by her side.
This is the first time that the Queen has given any such permission to a member of the royal household.
ITV News Royal Editor Chris Ship tweeted: ‘The publisher Harper Collins says Angela Kelly’s book will be ‘revealing’ and will give ‘memorable insights into what it’s like to work so closely with The Queen’.’

‘The Queen has personally given Angela her blessing to share their unparalleled bond with the world,’ a spokeswoman from HarperCollins told ITV.
‘Angela Kelly is the first serving member of the Royal Household to have been given this extraordinary permission.
‘Whether it’s preparing for a formal occasion or brightening Her Majesty’s day with a playful joke, Angela’s priority is to serve and support.’
HarperCollins added: ‘Sharing never-before-seen photographs - many from Angela’s own private collection - and charming anecdotes of their time spent together, this revealing book provides memorable insights into what it’s like to work closely with The Queen, to curate her wardrobe and to discover a true and lasting connection along the way.’
