Princess Eugenie might be waiting to have a baby for this heartbreaking reason.

Since Princess Eugenie tied the knot back in October, royal fans have been avidly on the lookout for an emerging baby bump.

The Queen’s granddaughter, who is tenth in line of succession to the throne, got married last autumn to businessman Jack Brooksbank.

The couple tied the knot in a lavish wedding just a few days before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced that they were expecting their first child, two-month-old Archie Harrison, who was christened just last week in the same chapel where both the royal couples’ nuptials took place.

But while Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who also married last year, were keen to start a family, it seems that Princess Eugenie and her husband of nine months might wait a while before having a child of their own.

And it’s all to do with Eugenie’s older sister Princess Beatrice.

Beatrice, who is very close to her younger sister and acted as maid of honour at her wedding, is reportedly desperate to start a family of her own and so Eugenie is waiting to have kids as an act of support.

Hopefully we won’t have to wait too long to hear the pitter patter of another royal baby, as a royal source told The Sun that Princess Beatrice is serious with Italian property developer boyfriend Edo.

‘They hit it off instantly and have a real laugh together,’ said the source.

‘They’ve been on holiday together and Beatrice introduced him to Fergie and her dad.

‘Things are moving very quickly and it wouldn’t surprise anyone if they got engaged within a short period of time.’
