Princess Eugenie shares adorable throwback photo of her and Princess Beatrice

Princess Eugenie

Princess Eugenie is one of very few royals to have a personal Instagram account, and she regularly delights her 901k followers by posting candid family photos.

And the 29-year-old Princess did it again over the weekend, as she shared a super sweet throwback picture of herself and her sister, Princess Beatrice.

Eugenie captioned the photo, '#tbt to Bea and I with matching Penguins #worldpenguinday', alongside the sweet image of the two royals as young children holding toy penguins, with matching sports caps on.

The young Eugenie can be seen grasping her toy penguin in her hands - with the toy looking almost as big as her! Her older sister Beatrice is seen behind her in the picture, looking equally excited about her new gift!

It's not clear where the photo was taken, but fans have clearly loved seeing the throwback photo of the York sisters.

One commented on the photo saying, 'Omg you guys are the cutest & sisters are the best! 👭'.

Others joked that the photo of them as babies has left them wondering when Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack will be welcoming children of their own.

A follower said, 'Cant wait till we get a Royal Baby Brooksbank announcement. You're my favourite royal couple', and another one wrote, 'Lovely photo princess cant wait til you have your little ones'.

Of course, the royal couple only married in October last year, so we're sure they're simply happy to enjoy married life with no rush at the moment.

But back in August, her mum Sarah Ferguson appeared to hint that a family is certainly on the cards for Jack and her daughter.

When asked if she'd make a good grandmother, Fergie said, "Excellent – I used to write children’s books, and I am a child, I haven’t grown up."

The whole family are likely all looking forward to the birth of the newest royal any day now - Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex's baby.

Meghan is thought to be past her due date now, and is awaiting her baby's arrival at hers and Harry's Windsor home of Frogmore Cottage.
