Prince William quick to ‘stamp out’ other people’s ‘triggering’ treatment of Kate Middleton
Prince William reportedly gives a ‘short shrift’ to those who are ‘dismissive’ to his beloved wife
Prince William has reportedly been quick to “stamp out” any sign of “triggering” treatment towards Kate Middleton throughout their years together.
- The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will mark their 11th wedding anniversary in 2022 and it seems he’s still keen to protect her from certain treatment.
- Prince William is said to be “triggered” by signs that Kate Middleton is being patronized when it comes to working life.
- This royal news comes as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry plan to sell their Californian mansion.
Prince William and Kate Middleton celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary last year and whilst this milestone date had great personal significance for the couple, it also marked an entire decade since she officially joined the Royal Family. In honor of this huge occasion, the Cambridges shared a sweet family video that featured the couple’s three young children.
They also released a beautiful anniversary photograph which is said to have been taken at Kensington Palace, their London residence. Now having been a senior royal for over ten years, Duchess Kate has many years of experience as a working member of The Firm and some have suggested she has grown in confidence.
This certainly appeared to be the case as she hosted the recent Together at Christmas carol concert and even and recently stole the show with her piano performance. And it seems Prince William has also been very quick to protect his wife from any signs of “dismissive” treatment during their relationship.
According to the Daily Mail, a source has claimed that the Duke of Cambridge has given a “short shrift” to anyone he perceives as patronizing the Duchess and that this treatment of her is one of his “triggers”.
The source alleged, “He flies off the handle at any sign of Kate being patronised and stamps that out very quickly. It's one of his triggers.”
They went on to suggest that despite some people over the years coming up with great ideas for Duchess Kate, if these aren’t put across in the right way, they likely won’t get the reception they were hoping for.

“Over the years, many people have come up with great ideas for her, but if they are put across in a dismissive way, they've got pretty short shrift from him,” they stated.
Throughout the years, the strength of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s incredible relationship has shone through in both their public appearances and intriguing insights about their life together. From Kate Middleton’s evening treat from Prince William after a long day, to his sweet reminiscing about meeting Kate at St Andrews back in their university days, their bond consistently delights fans.
The recent romantic snap of Prince William and Kate Middleton they shared to mark New Year is no exception, taken at the James Bond No Time to Die premiere night.
Analysing the photo, body language expert Judi James expressed her belief to The Mirror that, "This is more than just a smiling pose from the royal couple as they wish us all a happy new year, it is also a very significant and even unique choice in terms of what they are telling us about themselves, their relationship with us, and the future of the monarchy.”
Wishing everyone a Happy New Year! 🎆 pic.twitter.com/jcjfOZWHwpDecember 31, 2021
“We are probably deliberately being shown a future King and Queen who, against the odds in royal terms, are as loving, strong, happy and even flirtatious a couple as they were when they married,” she explained.
Prince William’s reported determination to prevent Duchess Kate from patronizing treatment is perhaps another important indication of just how “strong” and “loving” their bond is.
