Prince William looked handsome as he attended a star-studded event celebrating the NHS heroes who have worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic.

On Tuesday 14 September, the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, and many A-listers rallied together to honor and commemorate the NHS staff at The Sun's Who Cares Wins Awards.

It's back to business for the royals as his appearance comes a day after Kate Middleton attended an event close to Prince William's heart.

Among the British celebrities attending this event—including David Beckham, Kate Garraway, Gary Linekar, Piers Morgan, and Rod Stewart—was Prince William who cut a fine figure in a tailored tuxedo for the prestigious event.

The Prince, who formerly worked as an emergency ambulance pilot, is well acquainted with the heroic behaviors of first responders. The heir to the British throne worked as a search and rescue pilot for East Anglian Air Ambulance for just over two years from March 2015.

During this time, he and the Duchess of Cambridge were based in their country residence, Anmer Hall, which was a wedding gift from the Queen.

At the event, the Prince actively participated in the evening's affairs by chatting with guests and presenting an award to two brave ambulance workers, Deena Evans and Mick Hipgrave.

Deena and Mick were working as paramedics responding to a 999 call when they were both stabbed by an assailant brandishing 8-inch knives.

The Sun reported that when presenting an award, Prince William made a touching speech about the NHS workers who put themselves in harm's way every day in the line of duty.

"Every day our emergency services deal with high-pressured, challenging situations," began the Duke of Cambridge.

"When most of us would, quite naturally, turn away and seek safety, our emergency responders rise to the occasion—running straight towards the danger to provide vital and often life-saving support."

Prince William continued to say, "Very modestly, they will tell you that this does not make them heroes, and it is all done in the name of duty. But sometimes a situation will occur that tests the resolve of even the most experienced responder."

"In times like these, they must face their deepest fears and find the most astonishing level of courage to overcome the obstacles in front of them. And that is truly heroic.

"The winners of this award faced just such a situation, but I am delighted to say they survived and are here this evening."

After concluding his speech, Prince William was also spotted chatting to younger attendees such as Phoebe Sinclair. Phoebe, who is just 9 years old, received a prosthetic 'Hero Arm' from award nominees Joel Gibbard MBE and Samantha Payne MBE, the founders of Open Bionics.

Prince William looked at ease as he chatted to the nine-year-old who is close in age to his eldest son Prince George who turned eight in the summer.

Prince William was unaccompanied by his wife the Duchess of Cambridge at this event. The royal couple took an extended break following the summer which led to many speculating that Kate Middleton is pregnant again
