Prince William had a rare starstruck moment in Jamaica yesterday, after introducing two of his 'heroes' to Kate Middleton.

He might be the most famous man in Britain, but when it comes to meeting his idols, even Prince William gets starstruck sometimes.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are now on Day Four of their Caribbean royal tour, having already completed the first leg of the overseas trip in honor of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee

They left Belize on Tuesday morning and arrived in Jamaica just a couple of hours later, where they received a mixed reception from locals. Widespread protests demanding slavery reparations from the British monarchy and opposing the Royal Family's visit were held in the capital city of Kingston—a movement that William and Kate are reportedly well aware of. It's understood that the Duke plans to 'acknowledge' slavery during his trip to the Commonwealth nation, but it remains unknown if he will comment on the controversy surrounding the couple's visit.

One of the first destinations on the agenda for Kate and Will was Trench Town, the birthplace of reggaeton and home of the legendary Bob Marley.

The Duke of Cambridge was delighted to meet England footballer, Raheem Sterlin, and Aston Villa ace, Leon Bailey, at the iconic site—having long admired the players' world-class skills from the sidelines. Both athletes were born on the Caribbean island but emigrated to the UK as children, where they would go on to become two of the country's most-loved sports stars.

After shaking their hands, Prince William reportedly turned to Kate Middleton and said, "Two heroes of mine. These two are the fastest in the team.” It's no secret that the Duke is a huge fan of Aston Villa, having supported the Birmingham club since he was a child.

The future King later enjoyed a friendly football match with Sterlin and Bailey, showing off the tricks he learned from his years playing five-a-side. In videos circulated on social media, the Duke can be seen giving his all as he kicks the ball around the pitch in a high-vis yellow vest and a pair of (somewhat unsuitable) cream slacks.

In another clip shared on Bailey's Instagram, the 24-year-old footballer is filmed sitting down while speaking to Kate and William. It's unclear what the conversation was about, but it's been reported that the Duke encouraged his idol to remain seated due to his hamstring injury.
