At a recent charity event, Prince Harry opened up about his fears about social media when it comes to his children saying his 'two little ones are still at their age of innocence.'

In an event for 5 Rights Foundation titled, Making Child Online Safety a Reality, Prince Harry opened up about his concerns when it comes to his young children's safety on the internet.
The Duke revealed that the dangers of the internet and social media is something that has concerned him for a long time. "Wherever you are and wherever you're listening from, I predict that your family, like mine, understands that the way we experience technology and social media isn't working and needs to be fixed," said Prince Harry.
'I'm not an expert on law or technology but I am a father - and I'm lucky enough to be a father with a platform," said the Prince as he addressed his status in the Royal Family.
He then spoke directly about his children as he said, "My kids are too young to have experienced the online world yet and I hope they never have to experience it as it exists now. No kid should have to."
The Prince then seemed to speak directly about his own experiences as he referenced the bullying that takes place online.
"As parents, my wife and I are concerned about the next generation growing up in a world where they are treated as digital experiments for companies to make money and where things like hatred and harm are somehow normalised," said Prince Harry. This was a particularly moving point for the Prince who has spoken on many occasions about the way that the British press and social media have bullied his wife.
"We want our children and all children to feel empowered to speak up," continued the Prince. "My two little ones are still at their age of innocence. Sometimes I feel like I can keep them away from the online harm that they could face in the future forever, but I'm learning to know better."

The Prince and his 'little ones' currently still reside in California in the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's $14 million Santa Barbara mansion near Oprah Winfrey's home. Despite living in California, the royal couple is still expected to travel across the pond in order to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee that is coming up in June 2022.
