The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s new biography shines a spotlight on Prince William and Prince Harry’s relationship, revealing the conversation that reportedly changed things between the brothers.

Finding Freedom by Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand is the explosive new biography centred around Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and their departure from the royal family.
As well setting the record straight on who pushed to leave the British Royal Family, the book will also look at past tensions between brothers Prince William and Prince Harry.

According to reporting from The Telegraph, William took his brother aside to ask, “are you sure about this?” with regards to Harry’s engagement to Meghan Markle, prompting an argument between the pair.
It’s no secret that the brothers have had tensions - like most families - over the years. Speaking to ITV news presenter Tom Bradby in a documentary last year, Harry said "we’re certainly on different paths".
But then added, “Part of this role and part of this job, and this family, being under the pressure that it’s under, inevitably, you know, stuff happens.
"But look, we’re brothers, we’ll always be brothers. And we’re certainly on different paths at the moment, but I’ll always be there for him, as I know he’ll always be there for me.
“We don’t see each other as much as we used to because we’re so busy, but you know, I love him dearly. The majority of this stuff [in the press] is created out of nothing, but you know, as brothers, you know, you have good days, you have bad days.”
While the book may speculate about the relationships within the royal family, it’s important to note that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were not interviewed for the book.
A statement from a spokesman for the Sussexes said, "The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were not interviewed and did not contribute to Finding Freedom.
"This book is based on the authors' own experiences as members of the royal press corps and their own independent reporting."
Finding Freedom: Harry, Meghan, and the Making of a Modern Royal Family, is set to be released on August 11.
