Kate Middleton's gorgeous earrings at the Buckingham Palace garden party yesterday could have special powers on their wearer, according to jewelry experts.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge hosted the swanky outdoor event on Wednesday afternoon in the Queen's absence, welcoming up to 8,000 guests to the plush London residence for an afternoon of Earl Grey tea and homemade treats.
They were joined by fellow royals, Prince Edward and Sophie Wessex, and The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, as they made their rounds to thank attendees for their service to their communities.
The Queen's garden party also had a surprise guest in the form of Princess Beatrice, whose status as a non-working royal means she doesn't have an obligation to attend such engagements.
As to be expected at any Buckingham Palace function, the dress code for the garden party called for formal attire from both hosts and guests.
Always one to wow the public with her outfits, the Duchess of Cambridge stepped out in a dramatic floral fascinator and a matching mint-green dress that she'd worn once before at a reception for the 50th anniversary of Charles' investiture as the Prince of Wales.

The chiffon gown, which was created by her mysterious private dressmaker, featured puffy long sleeves, a midi-length skirt, and a high necked, buttoned-up bodice – making it the perfect style for the Regency-esque event.
Kate accessorized her flowing dress with mint-green Jimmy Choo pumps and a coordinating Hobbs clutch, which was later swapped in favor of a cream-colored umbrella. As for her jewelry, the Duchess' English Rose complexion was lit up with aquamarine earrings by Carousel Jewels, a London brand that has appeared multiple times in the hit Netflix show, Bridgerton.
At £140 a pair, these gorgeous pieces are made from sterling silver with 22-carat gold plating and promise to feel lightweight on the lobes, making them an ideal choice for a long afternoon of meets-and-greets. The company also claims that the gemstone boasts potential healing properties, explaining that the 'serene blue or blue-green color of aquamarine is said to cool the temper, allowing the wearer to remain calm and levelheaded.'
With such a busy month ahead of her, it's no wonder the Duchess would want to stay composed and stress-free. Kate and William are expected to play a huge role in next week's Platinum Jubilee celebrations, with pressure mounting on all senior royals to make ane extra effort in light of the Queen's recent health issues.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will also be returning from the US for the celebrations, marking their first reunion as a couple with the Cambridges since their withdrawal from the Royal Family in 2020.
