Kate Middleton arrives in Denmark wearing recycled red Zara jacket and gorgeous sleek hair
The Duchess of Cambridge is in Copenhagen for a two-day-long visit
Kate Middleton has arrived in Copenhagen for her first solo royal trip in over four years and—no surprises here—she's stepped out in style.
- Kate Middleton has arrived in Denmark for a two-day-long trip to promote her Early Childhood Education project and meet with the country's own royal family.
- Always the style icon, the Duchess of Cambridge pulled off impeccable fashion yet again by wearing a recycled red blazer from Zara and a pair of sleek, black trousers.
- In other royal news, Prince Philip ‘matter-of-fact’ as he compared newborn Prince Charles to the royals’ favorite festive treat.
The Duchess of Cambridge landed in Copenhagen on Tuesday afternoon to begin an exciting trip in the Danish capital, after flying directly from London on a British Airways Flight.
Kate, 40, will spend two days in the Scandinavian country—which she has visited once before in 2011—promoting her Eary Childhood Education project and marking the Queen's Platinum Jubilee 2022. She will also pay her respects to Margrethe II, the Queen of Denmark, who is celebrating her own milestone of a Golden Jubilee this year.
The Duchess was welcomed by Emma Hopkins, the British ambassador to Denmark, before beginning the day's itinerary of events.
She wore a textured red blazer with gold buttons, a crisp white shirt, and a pair of sleek black trousers for the engagement, polishing the look off with that signature Kate Middleton hair and an oversized, black handbag. She later swapped the large tote for a smaller black purse, which went perfectly with her black, block heels.
If the elegant outfit looks familiar to you, it might be because it's not technically new. Kate wore the same scarlet jacket back in June for the Euro 2020 England v Germany match, which she attended with Prince William and Prince George. The double-breasted blazer hails from high street fashion giant, Zara—where many of Kate Middleton's dresses can also be found—and retailed for a cool £59 before it went out of stock.
The Duchess has already arrived at the Copenhagen Infant Mental Health Project at the University of Copenhagen, where she has met with Mette Skovgaard Vaever, Director of the Center for Early Intervention and Family Studies.

Kate, who has long been a champion of Early Childhood Education, hopes to enhance her own knowledge on the subject during the exciting visit.
According to Kensington Palace, it's her aim to understand how Denmark "created an enabling culture for early childhood development, specifically how it has promoted infant mental wellbeing alongside physical health, and how it harnesses the power of nature, relationships and playful learning in the first five years of life."
