How the Cambridge children are set to play a starring role in the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations
The three Cambridge children will have a 'visible' role, which will see the family put on a 'royal show of force'...
The Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations will see the Cambridge children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis take on special roles and responsibilities during the special event.
- The Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations are the most highly anticipated royal events of the year, and it looks like the Cambridge children will have a starring role in the proceedings.
- According to reports from the Telegraph, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis will have a very "visible" part to play during the events.
- In other royal news, Kate Middleton is being 'seriously considered' to take over this prestigious role from the Queen.
The Queen's Platinum Jubilee 2022 celebrations will see the Royal Family unite to celebrate the Queen's 70-year reign.
Prince George, eight, Charlotte, six, and four-year-old Prince Louis will make their grand entrance in the lavish carriages that are part of the Trooping the Colour annual event.
The three children are then expected to take their place on the balcony, where traditionally pictures are taken of the whole family together, watching the flyover. Trooping the Color will take place on Thursday, June 2, 2022, kicking off a weekend of festivities in the Queen's honor.
The Telegraph reports that the children will have a very "visible" role in the proceedings, as part of a "royal show of force".
It's thought that this will be a good time for the family to come together and unite, despite the challenges faced during the last few years.
Of course, it's not the first time we've seen the Cambridge children on that famous balcony. Who could forget those classic 2019 Trooping the Color snapshots, that saw Prince George steal the show thanks to his amusing facial expressions?

Prince William himself was four—the same age as youngest son Prince Louis—when he first rode in a carriage alongside his mother, the late Princess Diana, during the Trooping the Colour parade in 1988.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are yet to officially confirm their children's attendance at the Platinum Jubilee events.
In addition to the parade and famous flyover, this year will see some extra special touches, including the Queen unveiling an epic sculpture outside Buckingham Palace in honor of the Platinum Jubilee. The plans for the sculpture were revealed on Earth Day 2022 with an Instagram post from the Royal Family Instagram page.
People across the UK have been invited by the Queen herself to plant trees in commemoration of the monarch's 70-year-long-reign, with over one million trees already planted.

The Queen's health concerns have sparked a break in royal protocol as Trooping the Colour will 'be adapted' this year. It's thought that, due to Her Majesty's mobility problems, the Monarch will undergo fewer engagements than during previous Trooping the Color events.
It's cheering to know that other members of the Royal Family will be there to support her during the celebrations, as well as the Cambridge family.
Prince Edward, Sophie Wessex, Princess Anne, Peter Phillips, Zara Tindall, Princess Beatrice, and Princess Eugenie are all tipped to be making appearances throughout the weekend.
