Meghan Markle’s former Suits co-workers have jumped to her defense amid allegations of bullying against the duchess, by sharing their positive experiences with her on set.

- The Duchess of Sussex has been accused of mistreating former royal staff members, a charge she vehemently denies.

Meghan Markle’s Suits co-workers have defended the former actor, following the recent bullying accusations launched against her by royal staff.
The Duchess of Sussex is ‘saddened’ by the accusations that she mistreated Kensington Palace employees during her time at the residence in 2017, condemning the charges as the ‘latest attack on her character.’ Meghan also claimed that Buckingham Palace has ‘perpetuated falsehoods’ about her and Prince Harry in the couple's upcoming Oprah Winfrey interview, following the royal headquarters’ confirmation that they will investigate the bullying allegations against her.
However, the allegations, which were first reported in the Times, have now been slammed by a number of Suits crew members. The duchess, who played attorney Rachel Zane in seven seasons of the hit legal series, was reportedly ‘loved’ by all behind the scenes. Screenwriter Angela Harvey, who worked with Meghan on Suits, took to Twitter to give her two cents on the allegations.
‘The ADs, PAs, and other crew on my show who had also worked with her loved her. LOVED. Set dynamics being what they are... I do not believe this bullying narrative for a microsecond,’ she wrote.

This perspective echoed the supportive words of Suits executive producer, Jon Cowan, who spent three years working with Meghan.
‘It’s also possible the Duchess of Sussex is a good person thrust into an unimaginable world. Having spent 3 years working with her in her pre-Duchess days, I saw a warm, kind, caring person,’ he said on Twitter. ‘I know nothing of her current situation but she gets the benefit of the doubt in my book.’
Meghan’s close friend of 22 years, Lindsay Roth, also took to social media to defend the duchess.

‘Meg’s M.O. has always been kindness; goodwill runs in her bones,‘ the TV producer told her 6.6k Instagram followers. She went on to emphasize all the positive attributes of Meghan’s personality, including her humor, intelligence, and sincerity.
The two women have been close since their college years at Northwestern University, with Meghan even serving as Lindsay’s Maid of Honour at her 2016 wedding.
‘If you ever have the pleasure of meeting Meg – and I hope more of you do – you will see the altruistic, magnanimous friend who I am so lucky to have in my corner.’
