Duchess Catherine's ringlets are a fresh style we're adding to our hair inspo Pinterest board.
In recent months, Kate Middleton has upgraded her normal blow-dry (opens in new tab) to an array of enviable hair styles from more tousled beachy waves (opens in new tab) to those caramel/toffee highlights that almost broke the internet.
Now Duchess Catherine has gone for the hat trick on her official visit to Cardiff with Disney Princess-esque hair, which has young girls around the country (and us) squealing with delight.
The look is pure Elsa from Frozen with hair pulled up into a half ponytail; the lower half being big bouncy ringlets that sat over her shoulders.
Leaving little to no hairs free around the face, drew attention to Duchess Catherine's exquisite features and that tartan scarf.
To recreate the look, first work a liberal amount of heat -protection (try Kérastase Discipline Heat Protecting Blow Dry Cream (opens in new tab)) over the lengths and ends of your hair.
Blow-dry with our pick of the best hairdryer (opens in new tab), then use the new BaByliss 9000 Cordless Curling Tong (opens in new tab) to achieve Kate's salon-worthy loose curls. Taking alternate sections, use the wand to curl the hair both towards and then away from the face for added volume.(opens in new tab)
Then take the top section of hair on the crown and clip it away from the face , either with bobby pins or a more decorative hair accessory (opens in new tab). Finish with a mist of L'Oreal Paris Elnett hairspray (opens in new tab).
Bonus: the half up-do also conceals greasy roots until wash day.
We can't to see Duchess Catherine's festive hair looks. Roll on Christmas...
