Strictly Come Dancing drops iconic segment from show – but did you spot it?

Strictly Come Dancing

It’s finally here – Strictly Come Dancing is back on our screens!

Many people across the UK tuned in to the first episode on Saturday, delighted to see it back after a nine-month break.

The popular dance competition has been around since 2004, and has brought many quirks with it. Whether you love the sequins and fake tan or dramatically shouting ‘seven!’, it’s a show that’s been a fan favourite for years.

But you might’ve missed the fact that one iconic segment was left out on Saturday's show.

Love Island star Curtis Pritchard is professional dancer AJ Pritchard’s brother, and he pointed out that there was a missing piece of the show during a guest slot on Hits Radio.

He explained, “Before they dance, the pro and celeb wave to cameras, they run the VT, then they dance.

We know it’s pretty cheesy, but what’s Strictly Come Dancing without the occasional cringe-worthy moment?

Meanwhile, all the songs and dances have been revealed for episode two if you want to get as excited as we are for this weekend.
