Lady Gaga gushes over boyfriend's sweet birthday present on Instagram

Lady Gaga's boyfriend, Michael Polansky, didn't let distance get in the way of the pop star's 35th birthday celebration.  

Although the "Rain on Me" singer is currently in Rome shooting House of Gucci—which boasts an amazing set and costumes that will make your jaw drop—her fella still managed to ring in the occasion in a big way: a giant bouquet that rivals Gaga in size. She took some time to stop and smell the roses, quite literally, and show some appreciation on social media. 

"When your bf sends you all the flowers in Rome for your birthday," the starlet captioned on Instagram. "I love you, honey 💕 I can’t wait to be home with you and our dogs, that’s all I need."

The duo was first spotted getting cozy over Super Bowl weekend in 2020. Several days later, Gaga took to Instagram to share a sweet image of her new love interest. From there, fans knew things were getting serious with the entrepreneur and Harvard grad. 

"We had so much fun in Miami. Love to all my little monsters and fans, you’re the best! ❤️"

This adorable moment comes on the heels of a difficult winter for the two: Unfortunately, the star's dog walker, Ryan Fischer, was shot in the chest in February before the attackers sped off with her canine companions, Koji and Gustav. The horrific story does have a happy ending: Gaga has been reunited with her four-legged friends, and Fischer continues to work towards healing.
