As they appeared on stage, Liza was at first frustrated by her prompt cards, then again by the teleprompter. Despite this confusion, Lady Gaga made sure to support the actress as she spoke about Liza's incredible career and mentioned her Oscar awards as well as the 50th anniversary of Cabaret all the while clutching onto the actress' hand.

When the star became a little confused about the order of their presentation, Lady Gaga reassured Liza and told her 'I got you,' to which Liza replied, 'I know.' The emotional exchange between the pair was obvious and fans were left in tears after seeing the kindness shared between the two women on stage.
