Adele One Night Only TV special has, after much speculation, finally been announced. Fans are delighted by this news and even more thrilled that Oprah Winfrey will be interviewing the singer.

It's only been a short while since Adele's new album was announced. The news came after months of speculation and as mysterious signs spotted all over the globe indicated the record's title.

The star, who surprised fans by sharing a teaser of her new song during an impromptu Instagram live, will take part in a two-hour special called 'Adele One Night Only.'

CBS will air the show, which will feature a concert performance from Adele. It will be the first chance for most fans to hear the singer’s first new material in six years.

The TV special, which will air five days before her new album drops, will also feature an exclusive interview with Adele by the one and only Oprah Winfrey.

How to watch Adele's TV special

Adele One Night Only will be recorded in LA and the two-hour-long special will be broadcast on Sunday, November 14 (8:30-10:30 PM, ET/8:00-10:00 PM, PT) on the CBS Television Network. This is five days before her latest album, 30, is released.

It will also be and available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+. To be filmed in Los Angeles, the special will include several of Adele’s hits as well as several new songs from her album.

Although Adele is very proud of her British roots, it hasn't yet been revealed if the show will air on a UK channel, or how UK fans can watch it online.

Adele's Oprah interview

Adele's Oprah interview is sure to be hard-hitting, as one expects from the TV veteran. Judging by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s interview with Oprah, which also aired on CBS, the former chat show host has a unique talent for getting her interviewees to open up.

After Adele revealed the heartbreaking meaning behind Easy on Me, fans are expecting that her latest record will be a real tear-jerker. According to the announcement, the two women spoke, "from her rose garden.“

The announcement continued, "in Adele’s first televised wide-ranging conversation about her new album, the stories behind the songs, life after divorce, weight loss and raising her son."

This latest album's release comes after Adele finalized her divorce from Simon Konecki and she admitted in an Instagram live that the experience inspired her latest record. When she was asked what inspired 30 she answered, “Divorce babe, divorce.”
