Keeping plants alive is a skill and many of us just can't manage it. If you're tired of looking at wilted plants, it may be time to consider artificial plants. For those without a green thumb, fake plants are a simple solution for incorporating greenery into your home decor.
Not all fake plants were made equally, though, with some unable to pass off as the real thing. Thankfully, Target has partnered with the designer Hilton Carter to launch a faux plant collection that truly has us fooled.
The limited-time-only collection features a range of fake and real plants from small to extra-large and even includes plant accessories for gardeners of all levels. Whether you're looking for maintenance-free care or want some chic accessories to store your plants in, this collection has probably got it.
The designer for this collection, Hilton, has always been a huge plant enthusiast and advocate. Initially, he started his career sharing plant care tips and styling content on social media. Since then, he has grown his following to close to half a million people. It seemed only natural then for Target to collaborate with him for this collection.
"We designed the collection for those that want to stylishly blur that line of indoor and outdoor," said Hilton in a statement. "For me, the inspiration started with a color palette. I knew I wanted the collection to bring on the colors of the natural world, including earth tones that would help elevate the greenery in and around them."
Most of the collection is under $30, providing you with affordable options to either kickstart or grow your plant collection.
The collection will be available in select Target stores and online while supplies last. We definitely can't wait to update our homes with a few of these plants and put our favorites below for you to shop.
