We all love a festive sandwich and M&S have outdone themselves with one of their latest Christmas offerings.

When the high street store posted pictures of their drool-worthy festive truffled egg and honey-roast ham sandwich on their Instagram page, fans couldn't contain their excitement.

The picture showed the Marks and Spencer sandwich, which includes a whole poached egg, split down the middle, showing off the yolk, next to the other fillings including ham and watercress.

The limited-edition truffled egg and honey-roast ham sandwich which features truffled egg mayo, honey-roast ham, watercress and a whole poached egg in the centre went down a storm on the social media platform.

One excited customer tagged her friend and said: 'This sandwich is a bit of us'. While another said: 'That first sandwich' and left a heart eye emoji.

Others called the sandwich 'amazing' and said they couldn't wait to try it. The new addition, priced at £4, is a great alternative if you're not keen on turkey.

The sandwich is just one of their festive offerings - with others including their turkey feast, and a Plant Kitchen vegan no-turkey feast.

Customers have been going crazy for some of M&S's other festive party foods too - including their new Chicken Doughnut Dippers.

Yes, you heard right - the doughnut dippers, which in all honestly look amazing, are just £5 and come with BBQ sauce and a waffle crumb for dippin’ and dunkin’. Perfect for pre-christmas parties.

Last week M&S announced they were teaming up with Australian gin-maker Four Pillars Gin to bring its Modern Australian Gin - once the secret to Australia's best bars and airport lounges - to the UK for the first time.
