The Duchess of Cambridge paid a sweet tribute to the late Princess Diana with her latest outfit.

Duchess Catherine gave a nod to her husband Prince William’s mother when she appeared on her most recent video call meeting.

The Duke and Duchess have been taking their technology use to new levels ever since the coronavirus lockdown began, joining in with multiple video conferences and taking part in interviews via Zoom.

Prince William and Kate took part in an important project for their mental health support charity Heads Together this week, coming together with a horde of celebs to send a one minute message out on the country’s radio stations.

In a video made as part of the effort, the royal mum-of-three seems to be wearing an outfit inspired by her mother-in-law.

Kate can be seen looking stunningly chic in a collared, floral shirt dress from Beulah in the colour Rose Red.

Royal fans couldn’t help but notice the frock’s similarity to one that Princess Diana wore during her tour of Oman in 1986.

Both pieces feature a raspberry red and white floral pattern and a signature white collar.

A Princess Diana fan account shared a side-by-side comparison of the two royal women, alongside a caption reading, ‘Today the Duchess of Cambridge used a look very similar to the one worn by her mother in law the Princess of Wales.’
