For anyone looking for a unique remote getaway this summer, Airbnb’s latest partnership with water brand Volvic has just the place in mind: a one-night stay surrounded by the Chaîne des Puys Volcanoes in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France.

Airbnb may have plenty of home-sharing options but none of them are quite like this. Starting July 19, travelers will be able to book a one-night stay for September 18, 2021, in a glass-walled mini-home surrounded by a range of 80 volcanos.

The one-time booking is available on a first-come-first-serve basis, so be sure to act fast. To sweeten the deal, the stay only costs €1 (or around $1.20). The stay isn’t all-inclusive though as travelers will be responsible for their own transportation to and from the venue.

The trip is the perfect opportunity to reconnect with nature and explore the surroundings with activities like a private yoga session in the morning, locally sourced meals, and a hot air balloon ride. Michelin-starred chef Adrien Descouls will also be crafting the dinner for the stay. After a full day, guests will wind down for the night in their very own Lumipod—a minimalist-inspired home that aims to blend indoor and outdoor settings by offering panoramic views of the 80 volcanos. Since Airbnb has extended its large gatherings ban though, the stay is only available for two guests max.

“The past year has demonstrated how connecting with nature is an important resource to regenerate and deal with stress,” director at Airbnb Emmanuel Marill, said in an announcement. “Natural parks provide endless opportunities for adventure for everyone.”

The breathtaking location has landed itself on UNESCO’s World Heritage list and is also the birthplace of Airbnb’s partner Volvic natural mineral water, which was formed over 35 million years ago with the Alps Mountain range and is produced and purified through the region’s volcanic rock.

Consider this your sign to take a soothing getaway—and for only €1 it may just be the most affordable luxury getaway on the market these days.
