One of Prince William's adorable childhood moments from his first day of school is a sure sign that his daughter Princess Charlotte is just like him.
- Prince William made a cheeky remark about the photographers there to take pictures of him on his first day of school when he was a little boy.
- Princess Diana reportedly gave little William a very special pep talk before he headed in for his big day.
- In other royal news, Princess Beatrice's cheeky quip to Ascot photographers displayed her unique way of dealing with the press.
The Princess of Wales made sure to give her first-born son some sweet words of advice before he headed in to school for his first day at Wetherby Prep School in Notting Hill back in 1987.
With future King, Prince William, being just five-years-old at the time, the royal tot was briefed by his mother on the fact there would be lots of members of the press there to take photographs of him that morning, according to a royal expert.
"Diana said to him in the car, 'When you get to school there are going to be lots of media and lots of photographers, you've got to behave yourself," Ken Wharfe, one of Prince William and Prince Harry's former body guards, told Yahoo's Royal Box.
"You're going to get this for the rest of your life," Diana reportedly also told young William, preparing him for a life in the royal spotlight.
Despite giving the paparazzi a sweet smile and wave on the steps of his new school when he arrived, Prince William is said to have given a hilariously cheeky reply to Diana's warnings about them.
Ken recalled, "William turned around and said something which was extraordinary. He said, Don't like 'tographers.'"
And Princess Charlotte's sassy comment to the press at Prince Louis' christening back in 2018 was rather reminiscent of young William's moment.
When the Cambridge family arrived at The Chapel Royal at St James's Palace with baby Prince Louis, who thrilled the world with his best Platinum Jubilee moments earlier this month, Princess Charlotte had something to say to the paps.
"You're not invited." While hand-in-hand with dad, Princess Charlotte has issued a cheeky remark to photographers after the christening of her little brother Prince Louis. #Royals #7News pic.twitter.com/5LdxDJeIGBJuly 10, 2018
"You're not invited," little Charlotte told the onlooking crowds as she walked with her parents and two brothers, holding tightly onto her dad's hand.
