Prince William is 'still waiting for olive branch apology' from Prince Harry
Prince William wants Prince Harry to apologise for things he's said in public

Prince William is waiting for Prince Harry to 'extend an olive branch' and apologize for the things he's said about the Royal Family, according to an insider.
- Prince William is thought to be miffed that Harry has been making private family matters public.
- The brothers have had a strained relationship ever since Harry and his wife Meghan stepped down as senior royals in 2020.
- This follows royal news that the Queen has cancelled a meeting at Balmoral after being advised by doctors to rest.
Omid Scobie, who is a close friend of the royals and author of Harry and Meghan's biography, Finding Freedom, explained how William is waiting for Harry to make the first move and apologize.
He quoted a family friend of the royal as stating, "People are desperate for steps to be made but behind the scenes, there hasn’t been movement." The source added that Prince William is "still waiting" for an apology from Harry for making details of private family matters public.
The source added, "What [Harry] is waiting for is accountability. Many lines were crossed by William.
"He was at the centre of a number of painful moments, be it the actions of his own staff or turning his back when support was needed. It was a dark time and one that, so far, William has been unprepared to unpack.
"When you look at the bare facts, it becomes obvious why it is pretty much the same state of affairs as years ago."
This comes after a royal expert explained how Prince Charles 'wasn't prepared' for someone like Meghan Markle to come into Harry's life and the effect it would have on his relationship with his son.

Following news that Harry and Meghan turned down Charles' offer to stay with him while they're visiting the UK, royal author Ingrid Seward said to The Mirror, "Harry and Charles had much in common. They both loved nature and animals and together with William played polo as a family unit.
"Harry was sensitive and Charles knew he would need a strong woman. He liked Meghan when she came along. But Charles was unprepared for her to take over Harry the way she did and turn him against everything he knew and loved including his own family."
Harry's relationship with the Royal Family, particularly his brother William, has been strained for some years now - particularly since he and Meghan stepped away from the family and moved to the US.
