Prince Andrew reportedly had an “over the top” reaction and “shouted” at a female employee weeks after he was served papers by Virginia Giuffre’s legal team.

The Duke of York has allegedly left Prince Charles and Prince William ‘furious’ amid reports that he wishes to face a jury in his ongoing civil case with Virginia Giuffre. Filing the case in a New York court, Virginia has alleged that she was the victim of sexual abuse by Prince Andrew when she was 17. The Duke of York has repeatedly and vehemently denied the allegations made against him. He’ll now be defending his case as a “private citizen” after the Queen confirmed she’s stripped him of his military honors, royal patronages and HRH title, though he remains ninth in the royal line of succession

Though the case has intensified in 2022, Prince Andrew is understood to have been served papers by Virginia Giuffre’s legal team back in September last year. And it seems the pressure of this could’ve begun to show in his behavior in the following weeks.

According to The Sun a source has suggested to the publication that the Queen’s son “shouted and yelled” at a gardener just weeks after the papers arrived. It’s alleged that the royal was left angry about trees being wrongly cut, with the reaction described as “unfair”.

The royal insider claimed, “Andrew is under a great deal of stress but it’s no reason to take it out on staff doing their job. She had nothing to do with the damage and felt it was unfair. After all, it’s only a few saplings.”

The gardener is said to have been working as part of a team on the Windsor Castle estate in October 2021, when Prince Andrew emerged from the Royal Lodge nearby.

“There was a team of gardeners tending the grounds and Andrew spotted a problem with saplings,” the insider went on to allege. “He started screaming and shouting, ‘What have you done?’ The gardener was very upset and shaken.”

They added, “She has always been considered conscientious and hard-working. Andrew was over the top. You just don’t talk to people like that no matter who you are.”

This comes as reports have suggested the Queen, Prince Charles and Prince William are all “absolutely furious” with the Duke of York for bringing the Royal Family into disrepute. Opening up on the speedy Palace reaction when it came to stripping Prince Andrew of his honors and HRH title, royal biographer Angela Levin told The Sun the royals have shown him how "seriously" he must take the civil case.

"I think they must be absolutely furious with him—because they haven’t just put aside the HRH title, they have said he’s got to face the case as a private citizen and I think that is capital letters for him as to how he must now behave and take it seriously," she declared.
