Kate Middleton's navy trouser suit, worn during a surprise engagement at Windsor Castle, was an ideal choice in light of those in attendance. Merely days after Kate Middleton's red coat took center stage during an official engagement, the hardworking royal was busy again.

The Princess of Wales met with the crew of the HMS Glasgow, the Royal Navy’s state-of-the-art frigate, which is currently under construction at BAE Systems’ shipyard in Govan, Glasgow. In June 2022, Prince William announced the then Duchess of Cambridge as the ship’s royal sponsor.

Kate Middleton's style icon Princess Diana would definitely have approved of the smart outfit choice. We're used to drooling over Kate Middleton's dresses but she went for business chic in this navy two-piece suit. She chose to wear an old favorite, the Alexander McQueen Crepe Blazer with coordinating trousers and a chic cream blouse underneath.

Although Kate Middleton's blazer is from the high-end brand, which also designed her wedding dress, there are slightly more affordable options that offer the same smart, clean lines.
