Royal Ascot 2022 is well underway with members of The Firm making their much-anticipated appearances, despite the Queen being forced to pull out of the first and second day of the event due to her ongoing health struggles.
But it was Ascot 2017 that saw Kate Middleton and Sophie Wessex cracking up with laughter when the Countess suffered a slip-up.
The mother-of-two, who shares Lady Louise Windsor and James, Viscount Severn with the Queen's youngest son Prince Edward, was entering the carriage with Kate, William, and Edward on the first day of Ascot, in order to appear in the procession.
But as she stepped in, Sophie tripped up and almost tumbled over into the carriage, with Duchess Catherine having to catch her.
The pair were seen in fits of giggles over the mishap, which certainly could've ended much worse for the Countess.
The pair displayed their sweet bond again this week as they stepped out for the Order of the Garter service in gorgeous pink and blue ensembles, perfectly complementing one another's spring outfits.
The twosome were snapped beaming and chatting as they appeared at the special ceremony, alongside key members of the royal family.
