The Queen's Platinum Jubilee was celebrated at the beginning of June and marked Her Majesty's 70-year reign on the throne. One of the many events during the jubilee festivities was a Platinum Party at Buckingham Palace on June 4, which was attended by Camilla and the Prince of Wales.
At this event, the Duchess wore a long navy daqlah that was embroidered with silver designs. The item is the same traditional Saudi daqlah that was gifted to Prince Charles when he visited Saudi Arabia many years ago for a royal engagement.
It was made by the fashion designer Yahya Al Bishri and has been in the Princes' possession for many years.
Eagle-eyed fans were quick to spot this borrowed look and many took to social media to share their thoughts about this shared wardrobe.
"Loved the long jacket The Duchess of Cornwall wore at the concert, but love it even more now that she found it in Prince Charles' wardrobe … now that’s a rewear!" said one fan.
Others thought that the daqlah suited the Duchess and thought it was adorable that she and Charles share clothes. "I think that’s really sweet, shows initiative and suits her," said another who appreciated the royal's thrifty choice of clothing.
"Stunning garment. If I were Camilla it would quietly disappear into my cupboard and become MINE for ever more," joked one fan.
"That's brilliant!! It looked much better on Camilla. She looked really stylish (always does!)." said yet another adoring royal fan.

This isn't the first time that the Duchess has borrowed the item from her husband, and it seems that she has now well and truly adopted the item into her own wardrobe as she has had the sleeves and length of the coat tailored to fit her frame.
