Reese Witherspoon has taken to Instagram to share a sweet photo of her and her husband - to celebrate their 10 year anniversary.

It's rare for relationships to last in Hollywood, so for the famous couple to reach the 10-year milestone together really is something to celebrate.

The Legally Blonde star posted a picture of her and husband Jim Toth, a talent agent, on their wedding day with a heartfelt message.

The actress, who was married previously to Ryan Phillippe, shared the photo, with Jim kissing her head, alongside a message calling it 'such a special day'.

She said: "Celebrating 10 years of marriage to my sweet hubby. What a special day with all of our dear friends. Looking back, I can’t believe it has gone so quickly!

"I guess that’s how it goes with 3 kids, Big LOVE, lots of laughing, non- stop travel, so many dogs, and fun adventures... figuring out this crazy world together. Here’s to many more days in the sun! I ❤️ you, JT."

Nearly 1.5 million took to her post to like the image, while fans and other celebrities wished them well. Fellow actresses and friends including Kate Hudson and Zooey Deschanel both left comments congratulated the Big Little Lies actress and her husband.

The couple met in early 2010 and married just over a year later, with Reese giving birth to their son Tennessee in 2012.

Reese loves Instagram - regularly posting pictures of herself and her family on the social media platform. She also recently used it to reveal that she was a fan of the hit show Bridgerton.

Reese posted a still from the 2002 adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest when she played the character, Cecily Cardew.  The A-lister captioned the post: “Watches one episode of #Bridgerton” with a selection of flower emojis.
