The USA Gymnastics team has confirmed that Simone Biles will be competing in the Tokyo Olympics again after she withdrew from two events.
USA Gymnastics said Simone is now ready to compete again and will be performing in the Balance Beam Final on Tuesday.
The tweet from USA Gymnastics says, "We are so excited to confirm that you will see two U.S. athletes in the balance beam final tomorrow—Suni Lee AND Simone Biles!! Can’t wait to watch you both!"

This decision was made after a medical evaluation confirmed that she was not ready to compete in the women's team event and she needed to focus on her mental health.
Speaking at a press conference after the initial announcement, Simone said, “I say put mental health first because if you don’t then you’re not going to enjoy your sport and you’re not going to succeed as much as you want to."
“So it’s OK sometimes to even sit out the big competitions to focus on yourself because it shows how strong of a competitor and person that you really are, rather than just battle through it.”
Fans flocked to support Simone and the gymnastics star was overcome by the amount of support she received.
"The outpouring love & support I’ve received has made me realize I’m more than my accomplishments and gymnastics which I never truly believed before," said Simone on Twitter.

Sunisa (or Suni) Lee has also been confirmed to compete in the Balance Beam Final on Tuesday.
During Simone's absence, Suni won the gold medal at the Women's artistic individual all-around, Artistic gymnastics.
The gymnastics star also has a silver and bronze medal to her name that she has earned during the Olympic Tokyo Games 2020.
Suni and Simone are both beloved members of the USA Gymnastics team and fans are delighted to see them compete again at the Olympics.
"So happy for Simone that she is able to compete again at these Olympics #mentalhealthmatters," said one encouraging fan.
Another fan commented, "So proud of Simone, wishing all the best to every incredible athlete that will be performing tomorrow!"
