Ruth Langsford impersonated by this jungle princess on Loose Women - and she loved it

Ruth Langsford

This Morning viewers are used to seeing Ruth Langsford being lovingly teased by her husband Eamonn Holmes.

But on Monday on the hit ITV show it was I’m A Celebrity star Emily Atack, 29, who got fans giggling.

The actress and comedian did a hilarious impression of the TV presenter, 58, via video link from the Loose Women studio.

As the camera panned to the 12.30pm show for a preview segment, Emily could be seen sporting a blonde wig – in the style of Ruth’s bob – and a red long-sleeved dress.

Noticing that there was somebody unfamiliar in the spot that she regularly occupies on the panel next to Janet Street-Porter, Gloria Hunniford and Jane Moore, Ruth asked: “Who’s that?”

Emily, doing her best impression of Ruth, said to the camera: “Hi you two. Hi. Coming up on today’s Loose Women with me, Ruth Langsford, we’re asking if it’s ok to argue in front of your children this Christmas.

“Of course, Eamonn and I, we never row of course.”

As the audience – and Ruth and Eamonn - fell about laughing, at her spot-on voice and mannerisms, regular panellist Andrea McClean crept up behind her.

She joked: “That’s what makes me know you’re not the real Ruth Langsford!”

Emily stroked her wig as Ruth and Eamonn couldn’t hide how hilarious they had found the introduction.

The couple are regular hosts of This Morning in place of Phillip Schofield and Rochelle Humes – who herself is standing in for Holly Willoughby.

Emily joined the latter presenter in Australia recently where the two women both appeared on I’m A Celebrity.

Emily came runner-up on the show to football manager Harry Redknapp, who was crowned King Of The Jungle.

After her impersonation on Loose Women, she discussed her time as a campmate on the programme.

Hilariously, Emily isn’t the only one of her family to impersonate a Loose Women panellist.

Her mum, Kate Robbins, was also an actress and comedian who was the voice behind journalist Janet on Spitting Image in the 1980s.

We can see where she gets it from.
