Piers Morgan teases Good Morning Britain co-star Ranvir Singh on Strictly Come Dancing appearance
Piers Morgan spoke about Good Morning Britain co-star Ranvir Singh’s upcoming appearance on Strictly Come Dancing this morning.
Good Morning Britain star Ranvir Singh is set to appear on the new series of BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing and earlier today she chatted about the appearance with co-presenters Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid.
After the star’s Strictly look was unveiled, the Good Morning Britain team commented on Ranvir’s ballroom dancing look, showering the presenter with compliments.
“Can we just say Ranvir, you’re looking absolutely fabulous,” said Susanna complimented, before Piers Morgan joined the conversation, quipping, “Can we not objectify Ranvir in the workplace please?”.
Susanna then made a prediction on how well she thinks co-star Ranvir will do in the ballroom dancing competition, adding, “16/1. I think that’s a cheeky little bet actually”.
Piers then turned the charm onto his co-star, making Ranvir blush when he commented on her Strictly Come Dancing outfit, saying, “Am I allowed to say you look a bit slinkier? That’s the most covered up you’re going to be all series. It’s going to get shorter and lower.”
Ranvir then joked that she had asked the production team to give her outfits that were more covered up, adding, “I said I want more sleeve, below the knee,” before Piers chimed in with some humorous tips for Ranvir when she takes part in the show.

“Here’s my warm advice to get through the early rounds is, more flesh, more votes,” he joked. “Simple rule, honestly. I can’t speak for the male species but, more flesh.”
He then added in a joke about other fellow Good Morning Britain co-star Richard Arnold, who took part in the BBC ballroom dancing competition back in 2012 when he partnered up with professional dancer Erin Boag before being eliminated in week seven, quipping, “In Richard Arnold’s case it was too much flesh”.
We can’t wait to see Ranvir in Strictly in less than two weeks time!
