What’s the plot of Our House?

Our House focuses on the lives of estranged couple Fi and Bram. One day, Fi returns to her home to find that strangers have moved into her home.

Quickly events begin to spiral and when she is unable to get into contact with her husband (played by Compston) she quickly realized that he has disappeared too.

Through a series of flashbacks that reflect on the couple's tumultuous relationship, we learn more about the secrets and lies that have been taking place within this home.

ITV promises that the series will culminate in a "nail-biting finale" that "unravels unexpected secrets and shocking revelations."

Who is in the cast of Our House?

Line of Duty's Martin Compston spoke about his lead role as Bram in the new series, “I’m absolutely delighted to be part of the cast of ITV’s Our House in the role of Bram."

He continued to say, "The scripts are genuinely thrilling, packed with twists and turns that kept me guessing until the end. I’m excited to bring them to the screen”

Also cast in this series is Tuppence Middleton who is best known for her work in Downton Abbey, Shadowplay, and War and Peace. Tuppence will be playing the lead character Fi, Bram's estranged wife.

"What struck me about Our House is its immense relatability; it’s a story where you catch a glimpse of yourself in the characters, and you get the chilling realisation that what happens to Fi could happen to anyone," said Tuppence about the show.

"What a fantastic opportunity to work alongside ITV and the team at Red Planet Pictures to adapt this artfully plotted novel,” she said.

Other actors who have been confirmed for this adaptation are Rupert Penry-Jones (The Drowning, Whitechapel, The Last Weekend) who will play Toby, Weruche Opia (I May Destroy You,) as Merle, Fi’s best friend and neighbour, and Buket Komur (Honour) who will play the mysterious character Wendy.

ITV has yet to disclose the release date for this gripping drama.

However, they have revealed that production has just begun, so we can likely expect the series to be released in 2022.
