Olivia Newton John's daughter honors Grease legend on 74th birthday after making touching promise to beloved 'mama'
Chloe Lattanzi hosted a heartwarming gathering for friends and family on Monday in honor of her beloved mother's birthday
Olivia Newton-John's daughter Chloe Lattanzi has honored the Grease star on what would have been her 74th birthday with a touching post on social media.
Tributes for the late Australian singer and actor flooded the Internet yesterday, after her nearest of kin shared a video of a special dinner hosted in memory of her beloved 'mama'.
Dame Olivia Newton-John, best known for playing Sandy in Grease (1978), died last month at the age of 73, marking the end of her 'overwhelming' 30-year-long journey with breast cancer. The four-time Grammy-award winner was given her third and final diagnosis of the disease in 2017, having already battled it in 1992 and in 2013. She passed away 'peacefully' at her ranch in Santa Ynez Valley, California, on August 8, surrounded by family and friends.
The Physical singer's only daughter, Chloe Lattanzi, shared a heartfelt message about Olivia the day after her death, posting a touching Instagram carousel of happy memories with her 'best friend.'
Olivia's family and friends have once again celebrated her incredible legacy this month, in honor of what would have been her 74th birthday. Chloe took to Instagram to share a video of a 'birthday dinner for mama', in which a small group can be seen chatting at a restaurant as they wait for their meal to be served. The 36-year-old's godmother, Nancy Chuda, and Olivia's widowed husband, John Easterling, were also present.
The heartwarming update comes shortly after Chloe promised to continue her mother's campaign to find "kinder wholistic treatments for cancer" and "to finally put an end to all the suffering cancer causes for countless beings around the planet."
