Nicole Kidman's unique catwalk appearance for Balenciaga delights fans, 'simply iconic'

Nicole Kidman's unique catwalk appearance for Balenciaga has delighted fans as the star mesmerized in a silver look that some are calling 'iconic.'

Nicole Kidman, Naomi Campbell, Kim Kardashian, and a number of other celebrities joined forces to walk the catwalk for Balenciaga's haute couture show during Paris Fashion Week.

The Nine Perfect Strangers actress wore a silver one-shouldered gown with a long train that trailed behind the actress as she strutted across the runway. The actress' strawberry blonde hair was tousled and boosted in the back for extra volume, Nicole also wore long black gloves that reached right up to her underarms. 

The star looked stunning but her unique way of walking the catwalk has divided fans. Nicole walked slowly and purposefully and took time to lift up her feet carefully so she didn't trip on her long train or stumble in her tall black pointed stiletto heels or tight skirt. The actress oozed confidence and looked down on the audience with a serious face as they watched her tower over them from the sides of the catwalk.

This unique way of walking the catwalk divided fans and while some hated the actress' unusual gait and surprising facial expression, others loved it. "Nicole Kidman was really put on this earth to serve," said one fan on Twitter. "Nicole Kidman: hottest woman," said another.

Others suggested she was the fashion brand's new muse and had taken over from some of the younger models. "Not Nicole Kidman coming to eat the kids up as a new Balenciaga muse!" said the fan.

"This was THE MOMENT" said another commenter on Instagram. "Simply iconic," said another.

Nicole's husband Keith Urban joined her in Paris and the pair were snapped kissing outside of the venue. Nicole also shared a sweet snap from backstage which showed her musician husband hugging her as she sat for hair and make-up. 

Another photo was shared by Nicole which showed the actress curled up on her bed still in her gown following the Balenciaga after-party. The intimate image was most likely also taken by her husband who supported her throughout this trip.

The couple recently celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary and Nicole shared sweet throwback photographs of them on their wedding day in 2006. Despite being married for 16 years the loved-up couple seems to still be in the honeymoon stage of their relationship.
