Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck married in true rock and roll style, like many Hollywood legends before them - in Las Vegas.
It's only been a couple of months since Jennifer Lopez engagement ring took its rightful place on her ring finger, and now it's been joined by a wedding band too. The legendary musician, actor, and all-around creative powerhouse announced her marriage to actor Ben on Sunday, July 17, 2022, via her newsletter, On the Jlo.
In a post titled, "We did it," Jennifer said, "Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient."
The message, which is signed Jennifer Lynn Affleck, revealed their adorable trip to Las Vegas - where they queued like any other average Joe to get their marriage license.
“They were right when they said, ‘all you need is love,'" said Jennifer in her newsletter. "We are so grateful to have that in abundance, a new wonderful family of five amazing children, and a life that we have never had more reason to look forward to."
Before the Waiting for Tonight singer revealed their happy news, the rumor mill went into overdrive when the pair obtained a marriage license Clark County clerk's office in the state of Nevada, the day before the wedding.
Such a whirlwind wedding could ordinarily be frowned upon. After all, it was only back in April 2022 that Jennifer revealed that her guy put a ring on it. Jennifer Lopez said her engagement to Ben Affleck was, "the most romantic thing," and their wedding was just as adorable.

As she explained in her newsletter, "stick around long enough, and maybe you’ll find the best moment of your life in a drive-through in Las Vegas at 12.30 in the morning and at the tunnel of love drive-through, with your kids and the one you’ll spend forever with. Love is a great thing, maybe the best of things – and worth waiting for."
Fans and celebrity pals all rejoiced at the great news after Jennifer shared an adorable 'morning after' photo on her Instagram. TV hosted Hoda Kotb commented, "Love is patient❤️❤️ and right on time. Congrats my darling."
