Jennifer Aniston's heartfelt message to Gunnar Mortensen has sparked sadness from fans as the A-lister pays tribute to her coworker who passed away in a tragic accident.
Jennifer Aniston, who stars in The Morning Show, has taken to social media to share the news that one of her behind-the-scenes coworkers has passed away after being involved in a tragic accident.
Jennifer said on her Instagram story, "This past week we suddenly and tragically lost Gunnar Mortensen. One of the bright lights on our @themorningshow set."
While Gunnar wasn't an actor on the show, he was a key member on the set and worked as a camera assistant. Jennifer spoke about his commitment to his work and shared her sympathies with his late wife, Keely, and his young son who is just two years old.
"As a camera assistant, he was so skilled and dedicated to his job. In memory of Gunnar, a page has been set up to help raise funds for his wife Keely, and his two-year-old son Lars during this difficult time. We are going to miss you, Gunnar," said the actress.
Mark Duplass who plays Charlie Black in the show also shared a sweet tribute to the late cameraman. "Gunnar Mortensen passed away unexpectedly. He was an impeccably dedicated and skilled assistant cameraperson. He leaves behind a wife and 2-year-old son. Please retweet and, if you are able, donate for his family," said the actor.

Speaking about the potential plot of The Morning Show season 3, Jennifer has said that she would like her character, Alex Levy, to have a romantic storyline. "I think it’s time to see Alex find some love and some passion," Jennifer told Variety. "She could put the controls down and go into the vulnerability of opening up her heart, which I don’t think she’s ever really quite done."
Season 3 was confirmed by the creators of the show in January 2022. Some rumors have suggested that this latest season of the show will premiere in late 2022 but this has not been confirmed by Apple TV.
