Cher and her wigs make a fabulous TikTok debut, proving you can still live your best life at 75
The singer Cher had some fun with a glamorous video in time for Pride month
Cher made her debut on TikTok yesterday, Wednesday the 23rd of June, in a typically confident and glamorous video. A hugely popular figure on Twitter already, it's no surprise that the iconic singer quickly became a viral hit. Her 30-second video has been viewed over three million times in less than 24 hours.
"Hi, it's me, the great and powerful Cher," she starts the video, clearly enjoying the chance to have some fun. From there, we get treated to two outfit changes and a switch from blonde to brunette hair as the Believe singer hits us with the not-so-humble brag, "Hi, of course, you know who I am," she says with a chuckle. It seems that Cher is having the time of her life—at 75-years-old.
@cher hi @tiktok . Happy Pride 🏳️🌈 do you prefer blonde or brunette? ##ForYourPride
♬ Believe - Cher
Everything about Cher’s video shows that you're never too old to play dress-up—or post about it. The star has consistently advocated the importance of self-belief for herself and her fans and has stated in the past, “If you’re waiting for someone to believe in you, you'll be waiting forever. You must believe in yourself.”
She’s also a huge icon for the LGTBQ+ community and deliberately released the video in time to celebrate Pride month.

"I know the people so I’m sure they’ll…listen to things I have to say. But it doesn’t mean I’m going to get the final cut,” she told Variety.
Outside of that, we can hopefully look forward to more positive and fashion-filled TikTok videos from the "great and powerful" Cher.
