Fans have now had their first taste of the rebooted Sex and the City series after And Just Like That… aired its first two episodes.

Wasting absolutely no time, the first two episodes released on December 9 delivered plenty of bombshells.

We finally learnt why Samantha wasn’t returning and, perhaps even more surprisingly, Peloton released a statement following a shocking death.

After such a powerful—and public—reaction, fans can only wait and see what other shocks are coming their way as the episodes will be released weekly, sidestepping the binge watching model which has become the norm with streaming platforms like Netflix.

So, just how long will fans have to wait until the next episode and how many episodes will there be?

When is And Just Like That episode 3?

The next episode of And Just Like That will be available to stream exclusively on HBO Max from midnight on Thursday, December 16.

The third episode will be titled When in Rome.

Is there going to be a second season of And Just Like That?

A second season hasn’t been confirmed yet but it’s clear that it also hasn’t been ruled out.

In a recent interview with Vulture, HBO Max Chief Content Officer Casey Bloys said that the future of And Just Like That depends on the cast.

“I have no idea. [Sarah Jessica Parker,  Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis] kind of came together to do this,” Bloys said. “They were all really busy and doing other things. So this is certainly a conversation we’ll have — for sure… I’m going to leave it up to these guys to figure out what they want to do.”

The Daily Mail, quoting a reported source close to the show, recently stated that producers are banking on a second season—and they have high hopes Kim Cattrall will be back as Samantha for it.

The source reportedly said, “…By the end of And Just Like That you'll see Carrie extend the olive branch and try and rekindle the friendship [with Samantha]."

“We have high hopes that by the time we begin filming the second season, Kim will have joined the show and Samantha Jones can make a triumphant return to the big apple.”
