Airbnb is to offer gift cards to its UK customers this Christmas season—the ideal present for your travel-deprived family and friends.

We’ve already put together a whole catalog of extensive buying guides to help build your shopping trolley this festive season. From the best Christmas gifts for parents to the best Christmas gifts for teenagers, there’s a customized list on hand for every VIP in your life—so you don’t have to waste hours trawling the Internet for ideas.

There's also a round-up of the 40 best cheap Christmas gifts, for those of you on a budget or looking for that perfect stocking-stuffer.

But if you’re still on the hunt for something a little different, this next suggestion might just do the trick. Airbnb has launched gift cards to help customers share the joy of vacationing after nearly eighteen months of restricted travel. The exciting tokens cover everything from a two-week-long stay in an exotic location (hello, Joali Maldives) to a short getaway at one of the UK’s best staycation spots. They can also be used to purchase a once-in-a-lifetime Airbnb experience, such as pasta-making in Italy or glacial hiking in Iceland.

Airbnb, which boasts a whopping 7 million listings as of 2021, hopes that the introduction of Gift Cards will reduce the pressure on Christmas shoppers during this “notoriously stressful and last-minute” season. With so many options available on its site, the tokens are likely a safe bet for anyone who’s still unsure how to treat their loved ones this December.

The gift cards, which are already available in the US, will be available to buy on airbnb.com/giftcard from November 9, and in Tesco and Morrisons stores from today.
